Post graduate studies

This week post is about postgradute courses you would like to take in the short or long term.

I consider that studying in Chile is really expensive, we all know that. So, making the decision of continuing studying after having your degree, most of the times is not a real option. Anyway, as more and more people are having the possibility of obtaining a degree, the market is getting really competitive, and having undergradute studies is just the first step.
In my case, I would have liked to study abroad, but unfortunately there were few options when I was at university. I can see that now students have more opportunities, but money is always a bump in the road.
A couple of years ago, and after finishing a Master´s I took in Santiago, I started to think about applying to Becas Chile, but then I found out that the money that the grant gives for living costs is not enough, so if you have a son that option is not a good one. Moreover, that grant forces you to come back to Chile for some years..and I really don't like that idea. So, by now I'm staying here!

Write about a postgraduate course that you would consider taking in the future. Include:
-Reasons to do the course
-Subject(s) you would like to study
-Where you would like to study (Chile or abroad)
-How would you like to study (distance learning, blended system, part-time course, etc)
-Any other relevant ideas

2nd themed post: talking about your pets

Today´s post is about our pets.

I used to have 3 pets, they are all cats: Neko, Kitte, and Gato Chico. Unfortunately Neko passed away last December, he was my partner for more than 16 years...I miss him so much. But I still have Kitte a 13 years old fat cat, and Chico a crazy one of 4. I have always had cats, since my mother was afraid of dogs, the only possiblility was to have cats.
this is their stressful lifeNekoTwo of my cats were rescued from the streets, and Neko was given by my cousin. I really love them! I remember I found Kitte in the street market, he was a baby, covered and fleas and almost starving; I couldn't just leave them, so I brought him home. Gato Chico was living on a tree near my house, he was abandoned in the street, so he had to climb the tree to stay alive and away from the dogs, one of my neighbors tried to adopt him, but her cat didn´t like him and hit him...so with my husband we decided to adopt him, but my cat Neko didn´t like him neither (he never liked other cats, he wanted to be the king), but at the end, he accepted Chico in a 15%.
Even though sometimes (most of the times Gato Chico) they make a mess in my house, trying to steal things they want to eat, or grabbing my son´s toys; I can't imagine my house without them.
